Miss Again

Toronto – meeting with old friend

Really hard for me to wake up that early.. lol couldn’t sleep too well in the past  two days   I left at around 1:30, and I couldn’t believe that Chloe would be later than me to arrive the bus station… and to top it all off, she was netmeeting with her friend in Quebec, that was why she was late…
We walked to Hardrock Hollywood from Union Station to meet Yi, our high school fd in Canada.  She looked different… better worse .  Anyway we were all hungry and searching for a nice restaurant.  We wandered along Yonge St. and couldn’t make any decision.  When I suggested to go to Green Mango, a thai restaurant; we were all content with the decision but it was just way too far, so we got into a so called "the Best Thai and Malaysian Restaurant"… near Green Mango that we didn’t discover until we finished our lunch.  That restaurant is totally existed for non-asian as they adept the menu to so not true thai and malaysian food.  Everything we ordered was just way too sweet.   We took some pictures anyway, and here we go.

After that, we spent some time in Yonge & Bloor.. as we past by the Louis Vuitton store, 2 asian ladies were leaving at the same time and carrying 6 big bags .  We were all shocked and didn’t know how to response.  Chloe was talking on phone at that particular moment but still she hollered and it was quite embrassing.  When we passed by ALDO, both Chloe and I found sth we like.  She got a pair of shoes but for myself, they only had the one on display and it was dirty, so I got nth.  We decided to go to the store in Eaton Centre as they have 3 ALDO over there.  Well, Chloe got a fuzzy bag and I still got nth… again the 1 on display only.

We left @ 8:45 and went to Ryerson to join the autumn festival party.  It was quite boring, especially the ending part.  What a drag!!!

Latest single – Heaven, which is the theme song of  「SHINOBI」. It also tells the story of London Bombing.

Sept 10 – big dinner & surprise

Today, woke up pretty late and and grace was gone when I was awake.  I had no idea that Marcus would come over, so I made some salmon and melon.  When my food was almost ready, Grace was back and she told me marcus was coming.. and we got Vancouver Crab, fish maw soup, and clams.,  The stupid thing is Marcus and his roommate – Klaviar didn’t show up at last.. still we could finish everything.
After that, we joined chloe & franie and headed to "Main Dessert".  We had a blueberry white chocolate mousse cake – almost 8 pounds… We also talked a little, well 2+ hours , and stayed until 2 am when they really needed to close. The cake is so tempting
P.S. Chloe, you should do mathematic symbols.. so interesting

Niagara Area

First of all, sorry to Rachel & bonnie.. lol I had no idea there was a parade @ 11am .. and Bonnie got scared because of the driving technique that Rachel has…
We left @ 12 and headed to Niagara-on-the-lake.  There was an accident in QEW, so we were stuck in the highway for a little while.  Fortunately, it’s only sth minor, and it lasted for about 30 mins only.  We arrived Niagara-on-the-lake at 1:45, got the parking easily!! We were lucky man!
That area is beautiful, full of old Victoria buildings.  I especially like the clock tower in the middle of the town.  There was a suggestion scenic route for us to follow but we were only able to finish half of that.  It is also the home of Fort George, a strategic p.t. when the UK was fighting the States during Independent War.  We left around 3:25 and went to the Falls along Niagara Parkway.  On the way to the Falls, we stopped by the floral clock.  A typical tourist p.t. as it was swamped with tourist buses when we visited.
We arrived the new casino at 4:20pm, and we spent some little time over there, just to enjoy the awe of the Falls.  We were planning to take the ferry to get close to the Horseshoe Fall but we missed it…..barely.  We got to the ticket station @ 4:55 and the last ferry was @ 4:45 ~_~ god damn it.  That was the second times I failed to catch the ferry. Well, we instead walked to the Horseshoe Fall and experienced the back of the Fall.  It was just spectacular and I totally felt the strength and beauty of it.  I wonder how could people survive from that force!!!!!!
We were starving, all of us.. when we left the Falls.  We went back to the casino area and searched for an restaurant.  We end up eating in "outback".  Not sure if they really serve Aussie food, gotta ask my friend to try it later.  Anyway, we had chicken breast, steak sirloin, tenderloin, and ribs.  All of them were quite good.  It was just a dynamite.  We all had a great time over there.
Time to test our luck, dun you think?? We sure enjoyed some gambling.  I ended up winning 20 dollars.. well not too much but I was happy.  There was a guy, really unlucky, lost 400 in 2 rounds in the Big & Small.  Everytime he scattered his money into many different choices, but the # always opened next to what he bought.  He should certainly leave the casino right away.  We left Niagara @ around 10pm… everyone was tired.. so fuk’n tired.

Canada National Exhibition – CNE

Quick Decision
I went to CNE with Chloe on Monday, and we decided to go there at around 4am on that day.  Since she would be spending her coming week in the States, it’d be too late to wait her to come back. CNE will be terminated on the 5th and she is comin’ back on the 6th  .
We enjoyed a lunch inside the CNE and there were tons of choices available.  I had some wonderful ribs and wings and chloe had a swiss waffle with chocolate fudge and creme, topped with strawberry.  It should be delicious and too bad that I could eat nothing like that.  When’ll I be recovered from allergy????
There were so many games to play, just like in those 冒險樂園.  It was so much fun , and I really missed them.  We also saw a show combinin’ ice skating ‘n aerobatic.  We had some great time in the International Pavillion – the place I had my CFA exam .. shit.  I bought a Indian belt, and she got a Indian head decoration, sth like a cap.
We also spent some time with those poor animals.. lol We took pix with pigs, piglets, osterich, cows, sheep etc. – all so yummy hahaha
